There's no reason travelers can't wait for their flights and enjoy themselves – and this "convenient" retreat near LAX may be proof; it's "obvious" that "care and thought" went into the "experience" here say proponents of the "helpful" staff, "fabulous" lobby, "classy" rooms and solid fitness center; but the less-impressed point to bathrooms with "old fixtures" in "need of repair" and the "many things that cost extra."

The beds were very comfortable, especially the pillows and bed linens.
No self parking. Bad valet parking at a very high price.

The rooms were very clean and well appointed, however, the service was terrible. The parking situation is the worst. There is no self parking, only a paid lot operated by a third party that is for airport parkers. The lot is not well lit and is a very long walking distance in a bad neighborhood. The valet parking service is really bad and you will pay a high price for it. On the other hand, I would not dare to park at the off site lot that the hotel says is available. It is neither safe or convenient. When I complained about valet service at the hotel, they literally laughed in my face. I can see why this property is available at such low rates. ...read more

Friendliness.
The bar staff.

Hotel was definitely worth the price. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The food was delicious, but a little pricey. Overall, our stay was fantastic!

The bed was really comfortable. Free internet!
Not as clean as I like. The concierge was useless. Furnishings were not well maintained.

The faucet was loose. There was sand in the tub! Streaks on the counter. Otherwise fine. I was surprised that they had plastic
and paper cups in the room, especially after reading about their commitment to the environment. They advertise Starbucks coffee, but the coffee in room was nabob. ...read more

Food at the bar.
$11 for web connection in room.

Walk out hotel and turn left to nice delis with good food - no mall nearby or drug store other than that it is a
good place to stay.

The bed and linens were fantastic!
The food was a bit pricey.

Excellent accommodations. The bed and linens were dreamy. The room was perfect. Clean. Neat. Fashionable. The lobby was attractive. Nice to have a Starbucks so close!

Free WiFi in the lobby with lots of seating area. Looked very upscale.
I did not like that there were so many workers standing around seemingly doing nothing.

Overall not a bad stay. The bed was comfortable and the hotel looked classy. I wouldn't mind bringing clients here for a meeting or putting them up for a night. I would like to see more attention paid to the room from the maintenance staff because some of the work looked like it was done real haphazardly. ...read more

I loved the ambiance of the hotel.
I thought the concierge was not very friendly.

I really like that the hotel was easy access from the airport. The restaurants were lovely and the waiters were great. The room was clean and the bed was heavenly. I had no problem sleeping and really did not hear any airport noise. ...read more

Getting it on Priceline. King size bed with flat screen. Safe environment.
Bar opens up onto the patio with the pool. No privacy when in pool in regards to patrons of the bar. Doesn't seem quite right.

Easy to find. Friendly personnel at the registration desk. The room was much nicer than I had expected. I was treated like a VIP, even though I purchased the room through Priceline and paid about 60% less for the room than had I booked through the hotel website. Exceptionally courteous staff. ...read more

Comfortable bed.
Smelled bad, unfriendly front-desk staff, and very average rooms.

Hotel is difficult to find off the main road. Valet was friendly. Front desk staff was completely aloof and could have cared less if I was a guest, or not. The hotel was noisy. The interior was inferior to even a 3-star hotel. The hotel services were below par, ie - bar was like a loud singles club and no service. The rooms are equipped with old furniture. The bathrooms are old, with old fixtures. Not spacious whatsoever. This was not an enjoyable experience. This hotel was not a 4-star hotel, not even close by any means. I stay in 4-star hotels throughout the world and it would be an embarrassment to recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a 4-star hotel. ...read more
